Inclusion Criteria
Gender: Both males and females
Occupants of Taranaki Region housing constructed before 1978 and owned by a Community Services Card holder (entitled to government assistance due to low income or pension)
Exclusion Criteria
Those not intending to be still living at house surveyed for the full trial period

Randomised controlled trial of medically treated home injury due to falls amongst low income occupants of Taranaki housing. The treatment studied is home fall hazard remediation together with basic home safety advice.
