Inclusion Criteria
Age: From 18 years
Gender: Both males and females
- Within the first 24 hours of initiation of invasive MV
- Age at least 18 years
- In the opinion of treating clinician, patient is likely to remain on MV until the day after next.
Exclusion Criteria
- Patient at an imminent risk of death within the next 48-72 hours in the opinion of the treating medical team.
- The treating clinician disagrees that a patient should be enrolled in the trial.
